Link System File Paths: V2.0000

Version Relevance: V2.0000 to V2.0003

Issue: Whenever I try to add a link to a file on another machine by browsing the network, the eventual path to the file gets added to the default path for my datafile directory.

This gives an invalid path, unless my file is my data directory and I started browsing from there. What have I missed?

Feedback: You need to have a mapped drive in the path when files are on another machine, so that the system can recognise your path as a valid complete path.

If you don't do this, the system will assume it is only a partial path, and try to append it to the default, or to the root volume.
