F0531 - Serialized Transactions introduced

Date: 14 Aug 2015, version: 5.0300, rating: 100, platforms: All

Description: Serialized transactions are those that, despite concurrent activity, effect the data only as though they took place with no other user was active. Transactions are forced to take place one-before-the other if their changes to data conflict. Serialized isolation is the most robust form of transaction and both MySQL and PostgreSQL achive it, albeit with different approaches.
