String Maintenance Toolbar

This toolbar is used to perform functions in the String Maintenance window.

Saves the listed strings in the Strings.stb file

Revert

Revert

Revert the listed strings to those last saved in the Strings.stb file

Find Text

Find Text

Finds strings where text is matched. Opens the Find Text In Strings window. After the find, the list will be restricted to only those strings that are matched. If no lines are found to contain the text, the string list remains unchanged. If you hold the Shift key down when confirming the find, matched lines are selected in the list but it otherwise remains complete.

Inserts 20 new numbered strings after the last numbered string

Adds strings from a text list, comma delimited. Opens the String Entry from Text window.

Delete

Delete

Deletes any selected lines from the list.

Export

Export

Exports all strings to a text file in tab-delimited format.

Import

Import

Imports strings from a text file in tab-delimited format and replaces existing or adds them to the current list.

To .usa

To .usa

Saves selected lines to the ProgCode.usa file in your local Custom directory. You will be prompted for an optional version number that sets all the strings in the CMS file to apply only to than version.

If you operate this control after reading the contents from the CMS file, only those strings selected are saved. This provides you with a method of reorganising the strings you have previously saved to the CMS file.

Shows all strings in the ProgCode.usa file in your local Custom directory.

From .usa

From .usa

Imports lines from the ProgCode.usa file in your local Custom directory.
