The evening before the funeral Abdul Basit mourns Diana outside his cafe. The cafe is opposite Kensington Palace and Abdul named it after her in the late '80s. She was a frequent visitor and encouraged him to keep the cafe going when times were tough in the reccession of the early 1990's. He was one of the invited guests in Westminster Abbey for the service.
